Cumbre Open Days are social, educational and fun. Cumbre Stud is in central Victoria, a leisurely 1.5 hours drive north of Melbourne, and 15 minutes south of Bendigo in the Sedgwick Valley.

The picturesque thoroughbred property provides a great backdrop to the OPEN DAYS aim to provide the opportunity for racing fans and current and potential racehorse owners to learn more about all aspects of selecting, preparing and managing racehorses.

Normally kicking off late morning, the days can include a variety of interesting speakers on the preparation of racehorses, on conformation, selection and racehorse management and understanding the pedigree page.

Tours of Cumbre will take place throughout the day and the days can include options of a demonstration of horse breaking and handling and yearling parades.
