Cumbre provide agistment for weanlings, yearlings and horses spelling from racing. All horses are individually assessed and fed and placed according to their needs. Cumbre is subdivided into 25 paddocks, with a variety of paddock sizes. Some paddocks are hard wood rail and netting; some are pine post with three electric wires, an earth wire and sighter wire. There are stables, 14 large yards with shelters, two round yards, 3 large holding yards linked to paddock layouts so that all horses can be behind hard wood rails at night, two horse crushes for veterinary work, a vet station, three bay machinery shed, tack room, feed room and hay shed. Paddocks are set up to be irrigated by traveling irrigator or fixed sprinklers. You are regularly supplied with updates on your horse's progress by e-mail or fax with photo, these can be provided to yourself, clients or fellow owners. Horses are weighed and condition scored. Other monitoring can be provided to meet any additional needs. Clients are encouraged to visit at anytime by appointment.
